Escape To Style & Comfort In This ‘Escape’ Tiny Home

By  |

Many people become interested in the tiny house movement with the desire to “escape” to a simpler way of life, with a more affordable home and less material items to be weighed down by. The people at Canoe Bay company, believe in simplified living and refocusing on the things that truly matter in life – common benefits of living the tiny home lifestyle – but they’ve busted that stereotypical idea that living tiny also means uncomfortable, cramped, or plain & boring, by injecting style and luxury into their “Escape” Home Series.

The prices of their homes reflect the extra quality and style they showcase, so they may not be for everyone, like those who join the tiny house movement for its affordability and lower cost of living. But if you want to reduce your living footprint, have fewer items and less home to maintain, but you are willing to pay for the style, these may be for you!

The following images are of their Classic model, 1 of 4 classy & stylish models, that – believe it or not – is on wheels!

Although space is limited in this portable little home, they’ve gone all out on style, using quality materials like tongue & groove wood on the ceilings, recessed lights, stone countertop, and stainless steel appliances. Here you see the main room that feels light & airy with big windows and french doors, and cozy & comfy with that corner fireplace.

Again, although it’s small, you’ll find the kitchen has all the necessities of a modern kitchen, and looks gorgeous.

The bedroom walls and ceiling covered with tongue & groove wood give it that nice cabin feel. A large window on one wall and smaller windows up high on the other wall, let in a lot of natural light.

The bathroom, with its full-size tile shower, and stone countertop vanity, is possibly our favorite part of this portable tiny home…

Their homes aren’t for everybody, certainly, starting around $95,000 for this model, and $60-70k for the smaller models, but they can at least provide everyone interested in tiny homes with inspiration for their own home.
